Hello and welcome to Tabletop Talk, your one stop shop for community based news. Our team is made up of excited students from Clearview High School looking for a place to grow their skills, whether as web designers or writers. This project is near and dear to our hearts, so we hope you get something out of our little news source.
Hello and welcome to Clearview High School's newest addition - Tabletop Talk! A website for our school's fresh news team to report on local news and school changes. This is a fun opportunity for us here at TT to become better journalists and grow as people during our time here at Clearview. We're hoping we can leave a mark on the school and create a long running news site that students of the future can be excited about joining.
We aim to produce feel-good, informative content that highlights what our community has to offer. From showcasing stories of local heroes, to celebrate student's successes we aim to be a wholesome source of entertainment for the people of this community. We will be writing articles, answering your emails, advertising local events and with a hope to eventually launch our very own little web show! (Now the site name makes more sense, doesn't it!)
So, who are we? Glad you asked! It's about time we introduced you to the team:
Firstly, we have our lovely writers Courtney and Mollie who will be in charge of creating an article each a week for the site. Then we have our wonderful editor Megan, who's there to catch all our mistakes before we hit post. Next is our wonderful Media teacher Mrs Warren who has agreed to be our club teacher this year.
We would also like to give a special shout out to the lovely Katherine for making this wonderful website for us to put all this on! She even promised to help manage it, so we are eternally grateful for her help.
Well, that's all the housekeeping done - now it's on with the show! Stay tuned for our first article dropping next Monday and we hope you enjoy the ride.
